I used the Milkround website to search for jobs and just applied to the ones that appealed. I was worried that everyone would be a recent graduate, but on my scheme I'm one of the youngest and most people have had careers before.<br />When I handed in my notice I didn't have another job, although I got one just before I left. However, it didn't start for 9 months, so I took a temporary job.<br />In terms of transferable skills, most recruitment is based on competencies rather than specific requirements, which I'm sure that you'll be able to offer loads of examples from your current job.<br />Loads of my friends have been in this situation as well, so it's really common and you're not alone at all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
